General information.
Our climate allows the growth of olive trees (this is the meaning of the town name "Oliveto"): in our 1,000 sq. meters garden olive trees grow and produce a light, perfumed olive oil.
The lake shore is 5 min. walk down the hill. The water is nearly drinkable, since our 25 km. long coast has no more
than one thousand inhabitants and no polluting industries.
The property location is the village of Onno, one of the three communities that compose the administrative town of Oliveto Lario.
At walking distance you can find a general food store, a post office, one Catholic church built in the 17th Century in the village and an ancient church on the lake shore (15th century). There are four bars, two restaurants, one hotel and two camping sites, one of which on the lake shore.
Sport facilities: tennis court, canoeing, two harbors (one for sailing boats and one for powerboats), swimming, windsurf and kitesurf. Our village has the longest beach of the three boroughs.
